Bob Florance

Bob Florance

Bob has worked in video, film, photography, event and exhibit production for more than three decades.

He worked freelance and then as an employee at AT&T during the break-out days of the Information Age and the company's massive corporate restructuring.  He was a major contributor during the many pivotal events that saw the company and its leaders in the forefront of a changing world.

Early in his tenure at AT&T, one senior leader said, "Eighty percent of what Bob says is worthless, but the other twenty percent is genius."  Over the years that ratio has improved greatly.

After his tenure at AT&T, Bob worked as a producer of the first dome show at the American Museum of Natural History Rose Center for Earth and Space.  He also worked with other Fortune 50 companies enhancing their communications with important videos and special events.

One such company was American Express.  There he initially worked as a consultant to reorganize their corporate media department.  That quickly took on a larger and more urgent scope after the company was effected by 9/11's events at their NYC headquarters building.

Bob was then hired at American Express where worked for 16 years managing the Corporate Communications Executive Communications Group, Corporate Archives and company's leadership meetings and major global events as a vice president in Corporate Affairs and Communications.
